Top Five Bistro Restaurants
Here are our "Top Five" Ethnic restaurants:
- Rendezvous (3033 Immel Street, Abbotsford, 604-853-9911) Old Clayburn Plaza. Excellent food. Great Greek Salad and the wine list is great. We usually go for the red Greek Boutari wine because it compliments the meal.
- Yorkshire & Rose Pub (33785 Essendene Avenue, Abbotsford, 604-854-6323) In downtown Abbotsford, they serve wonderful halibut & fries and their roast beef & yorkshire pudding is excellent. Also like the mushy peas. Their band called Fagots & Peas is great and is usually very funny.
- Shiva Sweet Restaurant (32131 Marshall Road, 604-850-2399) An excellent East Indian Restaurant. Their food is fresh and not too spicy unless you dig into some of the spices.
- Greek Islands (2686 Langdon Street, Abbotsford, 604-850-1613) In uptown Clearbrook, Not as good as the Rendezvous or Greek Knights but the food is okay.
- Savoy Restaurant (31549 South Fraser Way, Abbotsford, 604-852-6799) Best smorgasborg in town. This is a nice restaurant with some fine people working in it.
