Heading north from Hope toward Lytton and Kamloops is the rugged Fraser canyon. Barely wide enough for this fast-flowing river, somehow a rail line and the Trans-Canada Highway are hanging on to the steep walls, sometimes on ones side (one above the other) and sometimes on opposties sides.
The scenery is rugged, with stretches classified as desert plateau, with relatively little snowfall in winter and VERY hot in summers. More...
