Bridal Veil Falls between Hope and Chilliwack

The Fraser Valley is that portion of BC's "Lower Mainland" that extends east of Vancouver, and includes the communities from Langley east to Abbotsford, Chilliwack, Mission to Hope, and then north up the Fraser to where it join the Thompson River. The area mixes urban and rural in a unique patchwork.

If you want more information about the Greater Vancouver area, FoundLocally has a site just for your! Everything from Surrey and Coquitlam west to the coast from West Vancouver down to Tsawwassen and White Rock.

Fraser Valley Business

Because of the region's proximity to the Transportation-Canada Highway, the various rural communities are a popular stopping off point for travelers. Harrison Hot Springs, north of the Fraser, Cultus Lake and Bridal Veil Falls to the south, and the Manning Provincial Park wilderness is to the east of Hope.

Businesses and self-employed individuals are welcome to add themselves to our FREE LISTINGS and post news, events, and job opportunities. FoundLocally has lots of tips and information for businesses, and their staff and managers.

Fraser Valley Shopping

Abbotsford's Seven Oaks Mall

The Fraser Valley has a number of mid-sized communities on both sides of the Lower Fraser River, which have both shopping districts and malls. North and east of Hope the shopping becomes very sparse.
